Chris Burch and James Bride bought this hotel five years ago. They invested thirty million dollars in order to renovate it. Then, they opened it as a five star hotel. Its name is Nihiwatu. It was voted as the best hotel in the world by Travel + Leisure. He bought it for his children and for the community. It has twenty seven private villas. This includes one that he keeps for himself.
